The National Prostate Cancer Audit (NPCA) published results from a prospective audit of men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year. Men diagnosed with prostate cancer in England and Wales between 1st April 2016 and 31st March 2017 were included in the audit. Recommendations from the findings included increased use of transperineal prostate biopsy.
